Thai Yoga Therapy
This sacred art is healing, invigorating and rejuvenating. It awakens the loving spirit and all senses opening the chakras and all meridians of the body. The result is the feeling of well-being and bliss. Nuad Boram is based on the northern style of traditional Thai Massage. Its foundation dates back 2,500 years ago during the time of Buddha. The basis is one of energy, at its most fundamental level. We reference this "energy" or "life force" as Prana. As in yoga, we continue in parallel with this "energy" and its indefinite power for healing. Being of good health, at least by majority definition is not being sick and able to function both through thought and physical independence. In eastern philosophy this concept is more defined as a balance of our chakras, or specific channels of energy flow that are in constant balance, where all of our internal systems as well as our mind and spirit are one in harmony. Sickness, diseases, and pains are considered to be an imbalance in this energy flow. Nuad Boram allows a reopening of this flow through stimulation allowing the mind and body to become balanced once again.
